#1143 - Northern Blossom Flowers Farm Shots for Saturday.

Happy Saturday to all fantastic Hive friends scattered across the globe! Today gives us a wonderful chance to slow down and enjoy life at our own pace. Wishing you a day full of good food, great company and genuine smiles. Have a truly wonderful and restful Saturday😍.

Now for our daily shots one early exciting day when wife and I along with a couple of our friends, arrived at our destination, the famous Northern Blossom Flowers Farm in the highlands of Atok, Benguet. Even though the drive was long, their excitement kept us awake and chatting the whole way.

It was a biting 6AM cold that can cut through our jackets. The air was crisp, the kind that makes you see your breath in the air. We were all laughing at how we were shivering despite the morning sun starting to peek over the mountains.

The farm was enormous with rolling hills of the highlands. We started to explore the vast grounds and the first thing that really caught my eye was the vibrant pink Snapdragons. We saw a batch of them growing openly in the field, swaying gently with the breeze. We also saw some in the greenhouses where there were even more Snapdragons protected from the elements.

Walking further along, we saw something that looked like giant white cabbages. These were the flower cabbages and they looked just like the big leafy vegetable we eat, only much ornamental. We decided they probably weren't edible😂.

Near the ground in neat rows were beautiful pink Chrysanthemums. Because they were close to the ground, they looked like a carpet of pink. The contrast between the tall Snapdragons and the low Chrysanthemums made the landscape beautiful. We spent over an hour just walking around, taking photos and enjoying the farm.
