#1142 - Sunflowers Early Morning At University of the Philippines Diliman Campus for Thursday.
A wonderful Thursday to us all, Hive family! I hope you are feeling great as the week winds down. We are almost at the finish line. Thank you for making this community vibrant and welcoming. Keep smiling and enjoy every moment of this beautiful amazing Thursday❤️❤️.

Now for our daily shots at around seven in the morning in the University of the Philippines Diliman campus. My wife and I had just completed an hour of running around the oval. We had finally hit our kilometers target. The run had been energizing but we were definitely covered in sweat and breathing heavily.

We walked over to the famous sunflower area that was planted right in the middle of the road facing the iconic Oblation statue. The sun was up with golden light over the flowers. They were in full bloom and standing tall and proud. My wife walked among the rows and I couldn't resist capturing the moment. She's with sweat and tired from the run but she looked radiant standing there among the giant yellow flowers.

The sunflowers were massive, much larger than I expected with vibrant yellow petals. As we looked closer at the centers of the flowers, there were bees flying from one bloom to another. They were hard at work in collecting pollens and nectars.

I zoomed in with the phone camera to get some descent close-up shots. It was fascinating to see the tiny details of the bees as they dig deep into the flower heads. It was a peaceful moment after our running workout. We spent a good fifteen minutes here just admiring the scenery and watching nature do its thing.
