#1120 - More of Our Recent Atok Benguet Trip for Monday.

Moving to our daily shots at six in the morning with our group of six.. my wife, four dear friends and I arrived at the entrance of the famous Northern Blossom Flowers Farm in Atok, Benguet from a long 6 hr drive from Metropolitan Manila.

The air was incredibly cold at around ten degrees Celcius and we're bundled up in jackets to keep warm as the morning fog still clung to the mountains.

We quickly added our money to share the entrance fee of $5 each. As soon as we walked through the gate, there's actually many other visitors already present inside the farm as some taking photos and others just strolling quietly, especially the old people. Despite the crowd, the place felt peaceful, calm and vast.

We began to explore the farm, walking along the many optional paths that cut through the flower beds. One of the first things that caught my eye was the pink Snapdragons.

They were stunning. We saw some inside a greenhouse but there were also rows of them growing out in the open. Their unique shape and vibrant color looked magical.

We continued our walk and came across what looked like a pink carpet on the ground, a massive patch of pink phlox flowers. They were low growing and covered the soil completely, it's a beautiful mat of color that looked too perfect.

Aside from the big flowers, there was also a lot of variety of the smaller plants. We saw lots of rows of small succulents thriving in the highland weather.

Walking around the farm in the crisp ten degree morning air was an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect way to spend our first of 5 mornings in Benguet province.
