Wishing you a day filled with relaxation and inspiration. Enjoy your Sunday to the fullest๐!
For our daily shots, it was the morning air in Baguio which was crisp, pine scented that makes us feel like instantly awake like a coffee caffeine. My wife, our friend Dandreb and I set out from Lyn's Baguio transient house just before seven.

Our goal was a good walk for morning exercise and ending it with coffee at Camp John Hay. The map said it was about 5 kilometers and a kit an hour long stroll.

We hit the road as half the city was still asleep. The walk was all smooth, zigzag with uphill on quiet neighborhoods and shops. The cold air was energizing and the three of us talked and laughed with our footsteps keeping all steady.

Right around the one hour, the scenery of busy streets gave way to the serene lawns of the camp and the air grew even fresher because of lesser vehicles.

Just near The Manor Hotel is we found the perfect spot, it's a gorgeous, quiet forest of tall pine trees. The morning sun pass through the branches.

Of course, we had to stop there. My wife and I took turns taking photos with the towering pines making us look tiny or small. The smell of pine was everywhere which is the classic Baguio scent.

Feeling hungry after the walk, we detoured to a local bakery inside the camp which we spotted along the way. We grabbed a freshly baked goodies and some cheesy ensaymada and found a bench in a sunny patch of the park. Sitting there, eating our simple food while other people were there also watching and enjoying the breeze.

Finally, we made our way to the Starbucks inside Camp John Hay. It's a charming but small branch with a cozy cabin feel. We got lucky to have a table right away without any waiting time! We ordered our drinks, a coffee for me and a Matcha for my wife and another ice coffee for Dandreb, we sat there perfectly content with the warmth of the cups. It was the ideal end to our morning adventure with good company, a nice mile of walk and some pleasure of a warm drink in a beautiful place.
