#1079 - More of Mount Mariglem Shots for Monday.

Good Monday morning dearest Hiveans across the globe! A fresh Monday is here, offering everyone a brand new start for our new week to start. So let's all start this journey with kindness for ourselves and support for one another here😉, a simple upvote spread to our community for example. Wishing you a Monday that is peaceful and filled with new beginnings. Have a wonderful and bright start to your week, everyone😍.

And now for our daily shots about an adventure which began in the quiet of a very early morning with our small team: my wife, two good friends and I met our local guide at the early hour of five. The world was still asleep and the air had that cool, damp odor of a cloudy day. We the rode into a single tricycle. The journey down the road was a bumpy and rocky path that made us hold on tight as we moved.

When we finally arrived at the jump-off point, our real work has began. Our guide, a young man of few words led the way. It had rained a few hours before our hike so the evidence was everywhere. Thankfully, the trail was more rocky not muddy where the stones provided solid footings instead of becoming slippery slides.

As we climbed little by little, the famous Zambales landscape covered with thick fog or misty rain clouds began to reveal itself in the morning. We were also soon wrapped in clouds like softening everything and making the world feel mysterious.

The temperature was refreshing cold with less effort of the hike. Even though we were only about halfway to the summit, we had stopped often and took lots of photos to capture the haunting beauty of the clouds, the fog clinging to the green mountains.

From our elevated view, one of the most stunning sights was looking down into the valley below where could clearly see a river, winding its way through the mountains sides. It was a powerful sight that shows just how high we had already climbed Mariglem. We catched our breaths with the cool air and the cloud filled views all around us, it's already an accomplishment for usvand still ready to continue the climb from there. More to follow soon😉.
