On the top in Salzburg
A walk in summer to the top in Salzburg and down to the city with a small apero . The views from above are magical, especially when you look out over the city's baroque architecture and the Salzach river and the Alps in background. The sunset is the beautiful moment.

Oh, this brings back such lovely memories! We did that exact walk last August, packed a little picnic bag (after finally sorting out our travel luggage situation, read more drama about that at https://away-luggage.pissedconsumer.com/review.html) and climbed up to enjoy the most breathtaking panorama. The baroque church towers glowing pink in the evening light, the Salzach winding silver below, the Alps fading into the golden horizon, honestly, nothing prepares you for how beautiful it is. We sipped cold Aperol Spritz and just sat in silence watching the sunset. Salzburg in summer is pure magic.
