A Day at the Heart of the Roman Ruins of Djemila

Last February, I had the pleasure of joining a short excursion to Djemila, one of the most majestic Roman archaeological sites in Algeria.

Walking through the forum, the temples, the Arch of Caracalla, and the grand theater really takes you back in time. The site's museum is also magnificent, with its beautiful and well-preserved mosaics.
