Oishi Park is one of the places to visit in the Kawaguchiko town in Japan. It is also the place where you can see Mount Fuji. Actually, Mount Fuji is huge so you can see it from many places but from this town there are best views of Mount Fuji and hence everyone comes here. From the Oishi park also on a clear day there is a very good sighting of Fuji.
Oishi park is very colorful and it does not hold any one color through the year. With the seasons the colors of the park also keeps changing. In spring time we see a mix of flowers like daffodils, tulips, pansies and many other varities. This is the time when I visited. Then there is summer where we see lavender blooms, in autum it's season for cosmos flowers and kochia shrubs, and then winter when there are no flower blooms, and what you can see from the park is the good view of Fuji covered in snow, and also the other peaks around.
In short, you visit any time of the year to this park and it will have something to offer you. Standing at the edge of the flower beds one can get very good pictures with the fuji in the background. Inside the park there is a ice-cream parlour which is famous for it's Matcha and Lavender ice-cream. Normally people buy a ice-cream cone here and then pose in front of fuji with the flowers. There was such a big line that I and my boys did not have patience to stand there for an hour. We skipped this part and moved ahead.
Some flower pictures at the Oishi Park

I will share the fuji side of the park tomorrow.

That is so pretty! I love blue and purple flowers, they just aren't all that common in nature. There is a genetic reason behind it but I've long since forgotten why... Thanks for sharing such beautiful gardens from Japan, someday I'll make it there!

Qué lugar tan hermoso !!Las flores le dan una belleza extraordinaria.En mi país el clima no permite que hayan tanta diversidad de flores, por ejemplo la lavanda .Su aroma lo podemos sentir solo en los productos como jabones y detergentes.
