This made me smile from beginning to end! I laughed when the monkey ate the paper thinking it was a coconut - animals really do surprise us sometimes 😂
Also can’t believe the markup for the sweet corn, 0.2 euro to 2 euro is insane! But I get it, that’s pretty much the convenience tax every fair charges everyplace.
I also saw the bear-proof trash bin, I didn't know there was such a serious problem with bear overpopulation there. Adding Somostető to my travel bucket list for sure. Can't wait for part 2! :) 🌳🐒

The problem is, the rent for a food truck is huge there, so they transfer the cost to the visitors and you basically pay for the rent, as the food is just a fraction of the price.
That actually makes a lot of sense, I didn't think about the rent side of it at all! That makes it seem less like outright theft and more like vendors simply passing along unavoidable costs. Still hurts for visitors though 😅 Thanks for the explanation!
