Ah - reminder about my youth - the area Malaga, Marbella is beautiful - had a a 4 weeks trips ages ago and even visited Ojén with bikes - I remmeber Marbella also from this Puerto Banús happenings — brings back memories! Was amazed by all the yachts, wealth, and glamour. Even met a billionaire or two (didn’t change my fortunes though 😄). Still, Marbella and the entire region remains one of those unforgettable spots from my young age trips — four weeks touring both Spanish coasts with a good buddy was different.

Cheers. I enjoyed that area of southern Spain. Not so much the glitz myself but the mountain villages are wonderful and calming.
Glitz is a different topic - not enjoying that anymore but was stunning. Other places like Mijas Pueblo, Istán, Benahavís or even Casares (a bit further, but worth it) really also offer that calmer, more grounded atmosphere - miss it.
