Unlike the continuous, gloomy downpours seen in other parts of the world, a Kerala monsoon has its own distinct rhythm. It is characterized by heavy, intense showers that last for a few hours, abruptly clearing up to make way for brief, golden interludes of sunshine. This equilibrium keeps life moving while beautifully bathing the freshly drenched landscapes.
