There are many areas for people to do various activities at Wachirabenjathat Park (Suan Rot Fai). One of the interesting areas is Buddhadasa Park where people can find peace and relax their minds. (Buddhadasa is a famous and sacred monk in the South of Thailand who passed away a long time ago.)
The park is in circle shape and surrounded by nice nature and large trees. There are some huge stones scattered around the area for people to sit and calm their inner minds.

There are awesome sculptures depicting Buddhist stories on the surrounding walls. Each sculpture has its own story to teach people about good and evil, etc.
These teachings of Buddhadasa can be practically applied in life.

Not far from the circle area, you will find Maha bodhi tree which is an important tree in Buddhism because it is the tree under which the Buddha sat and attained enlightenment.

Next to the Maha bodhi tree, there is Dhammacakka, or the Wheel of Dhamma situated near the lake. The Dhammacakka is commonly used to represent the teachings of the Buddha.

Visiting Buddhadasa Park allows people to escape the outside world for a while, relieving sorrow and finding true happiness.
Parks and other such beautiful places are refreshing for the mind and it is important to visit them often or travel to them to refresh your body.
