I understand, @benthomaswwd, as most people also have no experience with my level of tech play, but very thankfully it is very easy to download, install, explore, learn, and use Linux, in one of its multitudinous variations, ranging from very beginner-friendly iterations, to distros that are geared more for the competent or advanced user. I could help if you have an interest, of course.
