Theme-:"What Is Your Favourite Mode of Transport?"

It's wonderful how the various experiences we have on a daily basis with our transportation system has a long way of affecting the way we view it, whether we like or dislike it.

I have the privilege of being in a car, a bus, and also a train, and with all these I have had different experiences both good and bad one. Right now I can't compare these with the likes of aeroplane or ship because I have never been in one.

Between the likes of car, bus, and train I would say train is my best mode of transportation even though the experience of me being on it is just once.

There is no one that want to travel and would be happy when there is holdup on the way, especially when you are embarking on a very far journey. Using train as a mode of transportation can get you to your destination on time.

Atleast with the kind of train I entered, there was enough space to rest my head and stretch my legs without me inconveniencing any other passenger on board, unlike the buses and car in Nigeria where we will be stocked together like sardines in a can.

Oh how cheap the transportation fair is makes it even better in another level.

Although there are eateries where we can stop by while traveling to ease ourselves when nature calls, with the level of insecurities on ground, no one wants their drivers to be stopping in the middle of the road just to ease their selfs in the bush, what I mean is to urinate and to go number two which we usually do most times while traveling.

(Imagine going outside to urinate here in the face of insecurity)

That being said, the train already has toilet and bathrooms where passengers can easily go in and ease their selfs even while the train is moving, is that not just amazing?.

That one time I entered a train was when I was journeying to my compulsory 21days camp in kaduna state for Nysc, our national service after graduating in any Nigerian institution.

The best part about it was I was with a friend who was also posted to thesame camp as me, so we journed together, experiencing it for the first time.

We got to the train station as early as 5-6am even with that, everywhere was filled up with alot of passengers struggling to get a ticket to board. We where told the train kicks off at exactly 8am without any delay, so everyone was eager to get their tickets.

Well me and my friend finally did after all the struggles, I was so excited having to go to camp with my friend. The plus part was we saw other fresh graduates who where also boarding the train so we had alot of common things to talk about even though we just meet for the first time.

Yes we finally boarded the train, I was surprised to see how spacious the seats where from each other, our luggage's where perfectly tucked into a cabinet at the top, their is TV to watch even though the movie and music playing where on repeat for all those hours.

I slept, woke up, hardly saw houses since railways are usually build far away from residential areas, we had few stops for those passengers getting off and on when it gets to their destinations.

Oh for the first time I finally used the toilet in a train, to me everything was perfect because I have never had such convenience while traveling in my life. You know there is always fear of having diarrhea or going to pee and so I hardly drink or eat but this was different.

I took pictures and videos while on the train but I lost all those files because my phone was stolen from me few years later.

Anyways I'm so angry right now because I know I had loads of pictures in there, I was basically vloggling if you ask me.
