At La Cancha Del Caos, chaos isn’t just noise—it’s our lived reality. And through that storm, two forces have grounded us:
our dog Hero and God.

This FREE opensource project is dedicated to both.

We created the !dog command for our chat livestreams as a digital prayer in disguise—a joyful bark from the soul of a real-life service animal turned virtual faith fetcher. It brings Spirit to chats, hope to gaming streams, and peace to Discord corners.

Because sometimes, grace arrives in unexpected packages—like a Bible verse delivered by a digital dog.

What Is !dog?

When someone types !dog in livestream or Discord chat, your bot replies:
Good God 🐶 with a random Bible verse card from:
👉 https://good-dog-good-god.glitch.me/

Each click fetches a spiritual surprise.

Why We Built It

We wanted something:

• Light-hearted yet deep
• Holy without being heavy
• Funny and faithful
• A reminder that even in chaos, joy and scripture can coexist

This isn’t about pushing religion—it’s about pulling light into the dark, with humor, heart, and Hero.

How It Works

Backend (Glitch)

We made a simple site built on Glitch where JavaScript picks a random Bible verse every time the page loads.

Nightbot Setup (Twitch/YouTube)

To set up the command:

1. Go to nightbot.tv
2. Add a custom command:

   • Command: !dog

   • Message:

     Good God 🐶 $(urlfetch https://good-dog-good-god.glitch.me/)

Each use fetches a fresh verse via Nightbot.

Discord Setup (Carl-bot, MEE6, Dyno)

Each bot has its own command system. Here's an example:
