Lisbon is known for so many beautiful things, from palaces to its huge and popular zoo. Many people who visit the city make Sintra and its palaces (Pena, Regaleira) a must-see. But there is a park that is an oasis in the middle of the city. Today I bring you a visit to the "Lisbon Cold Greenhouse" and we will learn a lot about how this place works and how plants from all continents survive there. (All rights reserved©)🏞️🌏
Lisboa es conocida por tantas cosas bonitas, desde palacios hasta su enorme y popular zoologico, muchas personas que visitan la ciudad tienen como punto de visita Sintra y sus palacios: (Pena, Regaleira), pero existe un parque que es un Oasis en medio de la ciudad, hoy les traigo una visita a la: "Estufa Fria de Lisboa" y a su vez aprenderemos mucho sobre como funciona este local y como sobreviven las plantas de todos los continentes.⛰️🗺️

The "Greenhouse" is not just a garden, it is a piece of history and cultural heritage of the city, a city that stands out for its remote history and medieval foundations. Previously, there was a quarry here where basalt material was extracted. This occurred in 1933. The person who promoted the project was: (Raul Carapinha), who aimed to carry it out in 1915, but the Great War stopped the project.
La "Greenhouse" no es solo un jardin, es un pedazo de historia y patrimonio cultura de la ciudad, una ciudad que se destaca por su remota historia y fundaciones medievales, anteriormente aqui existia una cantera donde se extraia material de Basalto, esto ocurrio en 1933, el personaje en impulsar el proyecto fue: (Raul Carapinha), tenia como objetivo realizarla en 1915 pero la Gran Guerra detuvo el proyecto.

Para los amantes de los sitios con mucha ciencia para aprender no te puedes perder este espacio, es ideal para toda la familia y un ejemplo para los mas pequenos que desde corta edad pueden tener una impresion de que son las plantas, sus localizaciones, como protegerlas, por ello por tan solo 3.80 euros puedes tener una bonita experiencia y bastante didactica!! puedes llegar desde usando el metro subterraneo, tren, taxi, bus, caminando, tiene una variedad de accesos.🦋🐟🧭

Its name comes from the fact that it is a controlled artificial space defined as a nursery since all kinds of plants are cultivated there. This artificial space allows the recreation of an ecosystem suitable for the survival of all species, featuring controlled temperature and humidity; and it adds a pedagogical touch ideal for school learning and why not for the adult public as well.🌏
Su nombre viene a que es un espacio artificial controlado definido como un vivero ya que en el se cultivan plantas de todo tipo, este espacio artificial permite recrear un ecosistema apto para la supervivencia de todas las especies, presenta desde una temperatura hasta humedad controlada; y agrega un toque pedagogico ideal para el aprendizaje escolar y por que no al publico adulto tambien.👨🏻🏫

This question must be answered to avoid confusion. It turns out that, being an artificial and at the same time "natural" system, it does not have any type of machinery or controlled heating. What is certain is that inside it is warmer and less smoky than outside, and I felt it when I was visiting.🌏👨🏻🏫🏞️
Esta pregunta tiene que responderse de forma obligatoria para evitar confusiones, resulta que al ser un sistema artificial y a su vez "natural" no tiene ningun tipo de maquinaria o calefaccion controlada, lo que si es seguro que dentro es mas calido y menos humeno que el exterior y lo senti cuando estaba haciendo mi visita.⛰️🗺️

This prevents rainwater from fully entering, and at the same time, the temperature and humidity remain constant and are reduced by this clever wooden slat system, which is both eco-friendly and effective! Observa el techo del jardin, como podras ver no esta abierto y tampoco cerrado, por el contrario tiene un sistema de ripas de madera entrelazadas una con otras con poco espacio, esto hace que cuando llueve el agua no entra en su totalidad, al mismo tiempo el clima y la humedad se mantienen constante y se disminuye con este sistema de ripas de madera que es bastante inteligente porque es ecologico y efectivo! y aqui el porque "FRIA"🍀🌿🌾🌵

Cold Greenhouse🌍🚙/ Estufa Fría📍🧭
The garden is divided into three stages: (Cold Greenhouse), (Hot Greenhouse) and (Stove Greenhouse). We will explain each one, starting with the cold one! As we mentioned, it is a fairly controlled environment that does not allow the passage of cold in winter and a lot of heat in spring. This ecosystem of more than 8000m2 has plants from: (Mexico, China, Peru, Brazil, the Antilles, Korea, Australia, Tasmania, Japan) all these countries and continents brought together in a single space.🍀🗺️👨🏻🏫
El jardin se divide en tres etapas: (Cold Greenhouse ), (Hot Greenhouse) y (estufa Greenhouse), vamos a ir explicando cada una de ellas comenzando por la fria! donde comentabamos que era un ambiente bastante controlado que no permite el paso del frio en invierno y mucho calor en primavera este ecosistema de mas de 8000m2 tiene plantas de: (mexico, china, peru, brasil, antillas,corea, australia, tasmania, japon) todos estos paises y continentes reunidos en un unico espacio.🧭🚩🌏

hot Greenhouse🌍🚙/ Estufa caliente📍🧭
This ecosystem is very different from the previous one; here the roof is made of glass, allowing abundant sunlight and therefore greater heat than in the other areas, ideal for tropical plants that require plenty of water. Este ecosistema es muy diferente al anterior aqui el techo es vidrio, lo que permite el paso de sol en abundancia y el calor por ello sera superior a las otras zonas, ideal para plantas tropicales que requieran abundancia de agua, tiene una laguna en el centro, aqui destacamos la cafetera, arbol de mango, y bananas; tambien tiene una zona de orquideas pero a esta epoca no tienen flores🍀🌵

Sweet Greenhouse🌍🚙/ Estufa dulce📍🧭
An even more controlled environment is the cactus and succulent area, which is only 400m2 and is the smallest zone. Un ambiente mas controlado aun y se trata del area de los cactus y suculentas, tiene apenas 400m2 y es la zona mas pequena, aqui el paso de la lluvia es totalmente controlado con un techo de vidrio y abundante sol, ademas es una zona relativamente con una humedad bastante baja, estos factores son controlados por los jardineros ya que sabemos que los cactus y suculentas son plantas que no requieren mucha manuntencion y solo debemos admirarlas.🌵🌵

Visiting these sites is a pleasant sensation for our mind and relaxation; everything is perfectly placed to impress us, and of course it has a function. The garden allows local birds to pass through and interact with nature, and access is prohibited to birds like Columba livia, which are pests and would damage the work of the garden.🗺️👨🏻🏫
Visitar estos sitios es una sensacion agradable para nuestra mente y relajacion, todo esta perfectamente colocado para impresionarnos, y por supuesto tiene una funcion, el jardin permite que las aves locales puedan pasar e interactuar con la naturaleza y se prohibe el paso a ves como Columba livia que son plagas y danarian el trabajo del jardin.🌏🚩
