Chocolate Diesel

This strain is a sativa-dominant hybrid, it comes from crossing two of my favorite strains. It can reach crazy THC levels up to 30%, under the perfect conditions. But normally you can expect THC levels to be around 20%. I grew mine outdoors in organic soil using no artificial fertilizers, and was able to reach 21%. The effects of Chocolate Diesel are euphoric and stimulating. It has a powerful cerebral and mental high, I would say almost creative and focusing effect. Making it a good choice for daytime use. I found it helpful for my anxiety, and my stress levels. I researched the Terpene profile for the Chocolate Diesel, and it includes Limonene and Caryophyllene. Limonene is known to be very uplifting and giggly feeling, great for depression and stress relief. Caryophyllene is known for its anti-inflammatory benefits. Great for arthritis. Out of the six plants I grew, I ended up with 2.5 lbs of dried flower at the end. That averages out to be about 5.5 oz per plant. Not the best yield for being grown outdoors, but they are known to be finickey plants at times. Though the Chocolate Diesel was rewarding to grow, I did have a few issues. The long flowering period demanded patience that pushed it right up until the end of October. The plants were sensitive to pests, and the bugs just loved them. I had some problems with them holding their branches during some strong winds, so my advice would be to watch and monitor them closely. Overall I learned a lot from growing this strain and maybe I will try again in the future when I have a few more seasons under my belt. I give it a 7/10 for growing difficulty 8/10 for flavor and high and 6/10 for yield
