We really wanted to visit this place and surprise our child with something unusual. A combination of nature, technology, and creative art spaces built next to a huge canyon with lakes at the bottom sounded too interesting to ignore. Places like this always spark curiosity, especially when traveling with kids.
LOF LAND - is located about an hour’s drive from Pattaya. Today it is a modern tourist attraction, but the story of this place actually started many years ago. The area used to be a large stone quarry. After the mining stopped, rainwater gradually filled the pit and turned it into a deep canyon with emerald-colored lakes at the bottom. Later the territory was transformed into a creative park that combines futuristic architecture, nature, and interactive installations.
Even the entrance looked like something from a science fiction movie. The structure reminded us of a spaceship, and our child was so excited that he was almost ready to jump over the fence just to get inside faster.

Walking deeper into the park, climbing the stone steps, we suddenly noticed something that looked like a UFO flying saucer installation. That moment alone was enough to make the whole trip worthwhile for our young explorer.

Our first goal was to see the canyon and the lake below. When you stand at the edge, you immediately realize how massive it is. The depth is impressive, and honestly, photographs probably can’t fully capture the scale of it.

At the top of the canyon there is a large open lawn with soft green grass and comfortable chairs for visitors. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit quietly and enjoy the view.

While our child was running happily across the grass and laughing at the water sprinklers that periodically turned on, my wife and I simply relaxed and admired the canyon landscape below.

The back side of the viewing area was designed in a Mars-inspired style, with red colors and futuristic shapes that make you feel like you’ve stepped onto another planet.
Nearby there was also an artificial waterfall that added a surprisingly calm atmosphere to the place.
And that rocket you can see in one of the photos?
It’s actually a toilet building. We didn’t realize that at first either.

Another interesting feature here is the use of QR codes placed around the park. When you point your phone camera at them, you receive interactive information about the installations and the concept behind the park.

To be honest, I don’t remember exactly what we saw on the screen that day — but if you ever visit this place, try scanning them yourself.
LOF LAND feels like a mix of a science park, art installation, and scenic viewpoint all in one place.
If you are tired of the noise of the city and want to see something unusual, this place is definitely worth a visit. And if you bring children with you, I’m sure they will remember it for a long time.
The themes of other planets, aliens, futuristic structures, and dramatic natural landscapes make the whole experience feel a little like stepping into a science-fiction story.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what makes travel so memorable.

LOF LAND is a beauty, bro. Very modern, futuristic, architectural, and technological. You know, the photos look like they're from a movie — very professional. The area with the house surrounded by shrubs and nature is beautiful for photography, and not to mention the super relaxing space. I loved it 👏🤩!!
