Our adventures in Bangkok continue, and today we visited a really interesting and scenic place by the river — Mystery Mansion. This time we came with a clear goal: our kid really wanted to try the famous horror rooms.
I’m not a big fan of this kind of entertainment, but someone had to go with him in that hanging chair through all those creepy rooms 😄
I already started feeling uncomfortable right at the ticket counter. There was this terrifying clown in a horrible mask, handing out candy to kids. I absolutely hate when people hide their faces behind masks — it instantly makes everything ten times creepier for me.

Judging by the photo, this boy was clearly taught not to take candy from strangers 😅
The scariest moment for me was when we suddenly came out of a dark room at a pretty high level, right near that giant spider you can see on the wall of the Mystery Mansion building. And then — straight back into the dark rooms again, with all those horrible creatures waiting for us.

My kid was screaming with excitement.
I was quietly praying for it to be over.

Unfortunately, there will be no photos from inside — photography is not allowed there. So if you ever find yourself in Bangkok, you’ll have to ride it yourself and experience everything in person.

Around Mystery Mansion there are also plenty of beautiful river views and city scenery, but I’ll save that for another post.
Because Bangkok always finds new ways to surprise me.

I write my texts myself, correct mistakes and translate via ChatGPT (which is not a violation on Hive)!
All photos were taken by me personally - I am a beginner photographer, so I ask professionals not to judge strictly.
Thank you for sharing these moments with me! Until new stories and new holidays! ✌️.

Never went to asia before, but bangkok is in my list and I would never expect a hunted mansion there.
To be honest, I wouldn’t call this place a must-see on its own. Our main goal was the Jurassic Park nearby — we came to show our kid the interactive dinosaurs. Mystery Mansion was more of a spontaneous stop along the way. I’ll write about Jurassic Park separately in a post next week.

That's cool, I love dinosaurs, show us what they offer there heheh
