Zelný trh (Vegetable Market) is one of several squares in the center of Brno. In addition to the historic Baroque architecture of the buildings, you’ll find various restaurants, several theaters, and the Moravian Museum here.

In the center of the square stands the Baroque Parnassus Fountain, which was built between 1690 and 1696.

The Baroque Holy Trinity Column was erected in 1729 and is located on the western side of the square. In the background on the left is the Goose on a String Theatre. The white building is the Palace of the Abbot of the Žďár Monastery.

Beneath the market square and the buildings are cellars with a labyrinth of corridors that can be explored on a guided tour.
