​Nie ma to jak porządny, zelandzki wiatr, który w kilka minut przewietrzy głowę lepiej niż jakakolwiek kawa. Ostatnio wybrałem się do Vlissingen i muszę przyznać, że to miasto ma w sobie coś surowego, a zarazem niesamowicie wciągającego. To nie jest typowe turystyczne miasteczko z pocztówki – tutaj czuć prawdziwy portowy klimat.

Bardzo lubię te konstrukcje z czarnych, drewnianych pali. Mają w sobie coś z dawnych czasów. Na zdjęciach widać, jak fajnie kontrastują z błękitem wody.

W tle mignął mi też wiatrak. Klasyka Holandii, ale ten stoi niemal na samej plaży, co dodaje mu unikalnego charakteru

There’s nothing like a good Zeeland breeze, which clears your head in just a few minutes better than any cup of coffee. I recently visited Vlissingen, and I have to admit that there’s something rugged yet incredibly captivating about this city. It’s not your typical postcard-perfect tourist town—here, you can really feel the authentic port atmosphere.

I really like these structures made of black wooden posts. There’s something old-fashioned about them. In the photos, you can see how nicely they contrast with the blue water.

I also caught a glimpse of a windmill in the background. A classic Dutch sight, but this one stands almost right on the beach, which gives it a unique character

Vlissingen is a place where modernity (those concrete promenades and apartment buildings) blends with history and the power of nature. If you ever find yourself in Zeeland, be sure to stop by for a walk.
