Exploring the river Rijeka Crnojevića

After our morning paddle tour at Skadar Lake (--> see previous post), we drove to Rijeka Crnojevića, where the short, scenic river of the same name winds through limestone hills before flowing into Skadar Lake. We launched the SUP and paddled upstream as far as we could against the slow current, then turned around. On the way back we used an umbrella as a sail - and it actually helped a lot! By the end of the day we had covered more than 12 km of calm, beautiful water winding through an astonishingly beautiful landscape.
