A perfect way to start 2026
To kick off the new year, a good friend came to visit us for a few days starting January 1st. We were blessed with fantastic weather, so we hit the trails for some refreshing hikes in the stunning Rax and Hohe Wand mountains in Lower Austria.

Wow, you managed to capture some stunning views, and while climbing a mountain, it looks so beautiful. The mountains look incredibly tall, with some snow still lingering, and the clouds are so clear.

wow - what a trip - and again, photos of a Steinbock - I remember you had some years ago. I just wish I could do this again, alas, I am not capable anymore for hikes. With other words, I am way past my 'best before' date.
