When I’m out walking with my camera, I can never pass by a textured surface. I always feel the urge to stop and take a closer look.
Sometimes it’s a wall, a fence, or cobblestones; other times, a row of wine bottles or books. Today I’d like to share a few such pictures: taken in different places, at different times, but always with my old Canon EOS 650D and its 50mm f/1.8 STM — a lightweight, quiet, and affordable prime lens that produces wonderfully soft bokeh at close range.
The results are simple, unpretentious close-ups. Nothing grand, but I still love how they turn out. Hope you do too.
