My Actifit Report Card: September 8 2026

Oh man, I can’t remember the last time I was glad that it is sunny and warm. I much prefer the dreary weather the Pacific Northwest is known for(kind of a myth let’s be honest guys); but damn, it’s fucking BEAUTIFUL out these last few days.

Yesterday was kind of a surprise shift at work for me. I had planned on taking advantage of the rare multi-day weekend, but I’m not complaining by any means. There’s something therapeutic about the day-to-day of my current work here, and helping others always puts a smile on my face.

I still had time to go for a little hike though; which I wasn’t expecting. I think the past week of cold rain made me forget that it’s still only early September and there’s tons of daylight left. I had to get down to the store before it closed, so the primary purpose of this hike was just to see how quickly I could get up here today.

Im currently writing this on a little break up on my long hike up on my actual day off, and I’m pretty stoked on how it’s going so far. More on that later. Here’s yet another god damn picture of the same mountain. Sorry to spam you all with it, but it’s hard to get over the beauty of this temporary home of mine.
