My Actifit Report Card: September 7 2026

WET!!! Yesterday was god damn WET!!! All in all, pretty inactive day for me.. we were pretty slammed at work due to the event going on, which meant for me a whole lot of standing at the counter to thin out the line. Like, a lot of standing. My ADHD does not deal well with just standing in one place for hours on end, but I survived.

It was steadily raining for most of the day, with periods of some pretty serious downpour. I was working indoors- so I managed to stay decently dry for most of the day- but it seemed every time I had to walk from one building to the other it just happened to torrentially piss on my head.

But all that was fine. Work ended and it was a pretty nice long drive down the work road to town. To save my brakes, I usually choose this much-less-taken, winding, one-lane six mile road through the woods. It’s really pleasant- I very rarely see other people on it. Occasionally I play a little jousting game with another vehicle or have to pull up on a bank to let a car by but other than that it’s just a beautiful, quiet, slow drive.

Pretty much as soon as I parked the van and walked over to the bathrooms, the rain came back in full force and did not let up until well after I fell asleep. The drip drip on the van was wonderful to fall asleep to; but I was a little bummed on my day getting cut short. But hey, there are many nice days ahead :)
