RE: THE OLD GASOMETERS ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF PULA

It's an amazing post, but I can't help thinking about the pollution that might be left from those gasometers, and all that rust.

Where I live, on Long Island (NY) we have a legacy of old plants and businesses that has left soil water pollution. It's invisible, but soil samples and water samples reveal the danger.

Hard to believe that those kids should be playing there, or that agricultural products are safe to grow there.

I'm extrapolating from my own experience, here, where I live.

Actually it looks like one of the sites @slobberchops would visit in an urban explorers expedition :)

Yes, that's true ... and the effects of these things over the years are hard to track ... not good, not good ... but we have worse, and the world has also much worse, so ... and then there's a hope and a slim chance of pollution granting you some cool mutation or something that makes you a Spider-Man or some X-Men or something ... it's a loterry, practically everyone loses, but someone has to win the jackpot eventually ... let's hope for a brand new local superhero ...
