I just found out that bougainvillea flowers don't bloom until the afternoon, I thought bougainvillea flowers bloom until they are old or fall.

You are absolutely right, Bougainvillea blooms all day until they are old and dry. Idk why that article said it's a member of the four o'clock family.
I was surprised when I read what you wrote, how come the flowers don't bloom until the afternoon. Because I often see flowers blooming until they fall.
