Hello, Hive community! 🌿
As a journalist, I spend most of my day working on breaking news and headlines. But I believe it's essential to stay connected to nature to find moments of peace. My lemon garden is my sanctuary, and this morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find this tiny cluster of purple flowers blooming among the weeds.
These are Little Ironweed (Cyanthillium cinereum). Locally, we call them Kuksima or Sahadebi. Even though they're common weeds, their intricate beauty and vibrant color are truly captivating. They also have various medicinal uses in traditional Ayurveda, which makes them even more fascinating.
I feel that sometimes the most beautiful things are the ones we overlook. I wanted to share this little piece of my garden with you. I hope it brings a moment of calm to your day!
I shot these photos with my smartphone. Let me know if you like them!
