Saludos, amigos amantes de las manualidades ☀️👧

Ya estamos disfrutando de una hermosa etapa veraniega, llena de colores y momentos especiales, donde los accesorios hechos a mano se convierten en una excelente opción para complementar nuestro estilo.

Inspirada en la belleza de las flores, presentes en nuestras tradiciones y parte de la cultura cubana, quise confeccionar un hermoso juego de bisutería utilizando materiales reciclados, dándoles una nueva oportunidad y transformándolos en piezas llenas de vida.

En esta ocasión realicé un conjunto compuesto por collar, pulsera y aretes, combinando diferentes tonalidades y formas florales para lograr un diseño delicado y personalizado.

Los invito a acompañarme a conocer el paso a paso de la elaboración de este juego de accesorios reciclados.

✨Materiales utilizados

-Nailon reciclado en diferentes tonalidades: azul, blanco, amarillo y rosado.
-Tijeras.
-Aguja de tejer.
-Aguja de coser.
-Hilo de coser.
-Piedrecitas decorativas en tonos azules y plateados.
-Ganchos o bases metálicas para la elaboración de los aretes.

✨Pasos para la preparación del material

Primeramente, tomamos los nailon reciclados y, con ayuda de una tijera, realizamos cortes continuos de aproximadamente 1,5 cm de ancho, obteniendo tiras largas que utilizaremos para la confección.

Luego enrollamos estas tiras en pequeños conos de cartón, formando carreteles de diferentes colores, los cuales tendremos listos para comenzar nuestro trabajo.

✨ Pasos para la elaboración del cordón base

Para realizar el cordón del collar y la pulsera, primero tomamos las medidas del cuello y la muñeca, ya que la cantidad de eslabones puede variar según el tamaño deseado.

Seleccionamos el color de nailon de nuestra preferencia. En mi caso utilicé el color azul para iniciar esta parte del trabajo.

Con ayuda de una aguja de tejer realizamos una cadeneta de aproximadamente 100 eslabones para el collar y 50 eslabones para la pulsera. Al finalizar cerramos con un punto deslizado, obteniendo así la base donde colocaremos los detalles decorativos.

✨ Pasos para la elaboración de las flores decorativas

Para realizar las flores utilicé nailon de diferentes colores, como azul, amarillo y otras tonalidades, buscando darle un aspecto alegre y variado, inspirado en la diversidad de colores presentes en nuestras flores tradicionales.

Este mismo procedimiento lo apliqué a cada una de las flores:

Comenzamos tejiendo una cadeneta de 10 eslabones y cerramos con un punto deslizado, formando el anillo inicial.

Luego realizamos una primera vuelta subiendo con una cadeneta de 4 eslabones. A continuación tejemos 8 varetas separadas entre sí por una cadeneta de 1 eslabón y cerramos nuevamente con un punto deslizado.

Para formar los pétalos realizamos una segunda vuelta. Subimos una cadeneta de 3 eslabones, la cual nos permite darle altura y forma al pétalo. A continuación tejemos 3 varetas en el mismo espacio, realizamos nuevamente una cadeneta de 3 eslabones y bajamos al mismo espacio cerrando con un punto deslizado.

Repetimos este procedimiento hasta completar los 8 pétalos que conforman nuestra flor.

Ya teniendo listas nuestras flores y el cordón base, procedemos a colocar cada elemento según nuestro gusto.

Con ayuda de una aguja e hilo de coser a mano vamos fijando las flores en el lugar deseado, combinando los colores y agregando las piedrecitas decorativas para darle un acabado más delicado.

De esta manera obtenemos nuestro juego completo de bisutería reciclada, compuesto por collar, pulsera y aretes, listo para lucir.

Amigos, me encantó el resultado final de este trabajo. Es una hermosa forma de lucir durante el verano accesorios novedosos, coloridos y elaborados con nuestras propias manos, aprovechando materiales reciclados.

Creating a beautiful recycled jewelry set to wear in summer.

Greetings, friends who love crafts ☀️👧

We are already enjoying a beautiful summer season, full of colors and special moments, where handmade accessories become an excellent option to complement our style.

Inspired by the beauty of flowers, which are present in our traditions and are part of Cuban culture, I wanted to create a beautiful jewelry set using recycled materials, giving them a new opportunity and transforming them into pieces full of life.

On this occasion, I created a set composed of a necklace, bracelet, and earrings, combining different shades and floral shapes to achieve a delicate and personalized design.

I invite you to join me and discover the step-by-step process of creating this recycled accessory set.

✨Materials used

-Recycled nylon in different shades: blue, white, yellow, and pink.
-Scissors.
-Crochet hook.
-Sewing needle.
-Sewing thread.
-Decorative beads in blue and silver tones.
-Earring hooks or metal bases for making the earrings.

✨Steps for preparing the material

First, we take the recycled nylon and, with the help of scissors, make continuous cuts approximately 1.5 cm wide, obtaining long strips that will be used for the creation process.

Then, we roll these strips onto small cardboard cones, forming colorful spools that will be ready to begin our work.

✨Steps for making the base cord

To create the cord for the necklace and bracelet, we first take the measurements of the neck and wrist, since the number of stitches may vary according to the desired size.

We select the nylon color of our preference. In my case, I used the blue color to start this part of the work.

With the help of a crochet hook, we make a chain of approximately 100 stitches for the necklace and 50 stitches for the bracelet. At the end, we close with a slip stitch, obtaining the base where we will place the decorative details.

✨Steps for making the decorative flowers

To make the flowers, I used nylon in different colors, such as blue, yellow, and other shades, seeking to give them a cheerful and varied appearance, inspired by the diversity of colors found in our traditional flowers.

I applied this same procedure to each of the flowers:

We begin by making a chain of 10 stitches and close with a slip stitch, forming the initial ring.

Then, we make the first round by starting with a chain of 4 stitches. Next, we crochet 8 double crochet stitches separated by a chain of 1 stitch, and close again with a slip stitch.

To form the petals, we make a second round. We start with a chain of 3 stitches, which allows us to give height and shape to the petal. Next, we crochet 3 double crochet stitches in the same space, make another chain of 3 stitches, and return to the same space, closing with a slip stitch.

We repeat this process until completing the 8 petals that make up our flower.

Once our flowers and the base cord are ready, we proceed to place each element according to our preference.

With the help of a needle and sewing thread, we attach the flowers in the desired places, combining colors and adding decorative beads to give a more delicate finish.

In this way, we obtain our complete recycled jewelry set, composed of a necklace, bracelet, and earrings, ready to wear.

Friends, I loved the final result of this work. It is a beautiful way to wear during summer innovative, colorful accessories made with our own hands while taking advantage of recycled materials.
