Yo, my fellow Hivers! 🤙
It's me, Mooon, and here's my first blog of the year. I would love to share this wonderful experience of mine.
I have been working before the year ends and even during holidays, and it really makes me
burned out and exhausted, so I decided to celebrate the New Year with a brand new adventure.

While perusing Airbnb, I came across the Inobo Rest House, a distinctive location near Rizal, situated deep within the woods. Luckily, it was available on the date I wanted to visit, so I booked it immediately and planned my trip. It's a half-hour drive using a motorcycle, and I'm glad that the location was also Wazeable. However, there's no signal in the rest house, which I found perfect because it allows me to disconnect for a while.

Tato's trail would be my pin location as per the host, and from that area, there's a 15-minute trek along the mountain.
I packed my stuff, like food, water, butane gas, and my camping gear as well. I started my journey after lunch and reached my destination around 2 PM, just perfect since my time in was 3 PM.
The road is quite rocky, and it would be a challenge for me, especially when it rains.
Meet Ate Rowena, the caretaker of the place. She guided me until we reached the rest house. She's so fun to be with, approachable, and not boring. We had a lot of things we talked about, and I don't even feel tired after a long trek.
There's a 15-minute trek before we get there, and it's not exhausting at all. In fact, I found myself enjoying every minute of it, surrounded by the trees and a relaxing view.
I'm here, finally, at Inobo rest house. Let me share with you what it looks like.
Here's the balcony, the view from this is astonishing. I love the vibe and the design, so aesthetic. The materials are mostly made out of bamboo, wood, and a mixture of modern stuff. I love the Christmas vibe as well. LOL!
The sceneries are breathtaking!
I thought I was completely alone, and didn't know that I had an unexpected guest, but much better, now I have company, and I called him "Tai Lung HAHA! Yeah, the villain from Kung Fu Panda 😂
Now, I'll show you what it looks like inside this cabin, and some stuff gets me through the night.
The room was very cozy and comforting there's a lot of artworks inside that would be pleasing to see, and if you get bored, there are a lot of books that you can read or just simply play card and board games. I didn't have any worries at all since there are electricy powered by solar and running water from the faucet. The only problem was that it was too freezing.
The rain just dropped, so I prepared a cup of coffee and enjoyed the relaxing view.

I do enjoy every sip. Instant reflection, and it reminds me to breathe.
There's a kitchen underneath, and it's so amazing how it's structured.
A complete kitchen set, you just need something to cook, and of course, I brought some.
Also, there is an underground space for bonfire activity, and a portable pool, I'm not gonna use it cause it's so cold outside.
I prepared dinner before it got too dark. I cooked meatloaf with eggs, and I wanted something spicy, so I got some chillies from the garden, and I added some malunggay leaves to the ramen.
Now it's dinner time!
I really enjoy my dinner, the spicy soup ended my cravings that night, it's just so perfect for a rain cold night.
I spent the rest of the night reading books while listening to the raindrops on the roof, sounds boring, but it means a lot to me. It's my quick escape and a therapy.
This is what the room looks like at night, feels like a prince LOL.
Lights off, time to go to sleep!
Time check 6:AM in the morning, I wasn't able to catch up with sun rise cause I had a good sleep; I witnessed the sea of clouds covering the Sierra Madre.
That's all for me, folks. Just want to remind you that no matter how busy you are, please make some time to explore nature and breathe. Don't just exist!
Hope we can catch up soon, see you around! 😁
Peace out! 🤙
