If there’s one place where cats truly feel at home, it’s Istanbul. Among minarets and cobblestone streets, they are an inseparable part of the urban landscape. This ginger cat is one of those who, on my first visit, made the city so memorable for me.
He sat in one spot for a long time, glancing around. I quietly took a few pictures. When he got up and walked toward me, he looked like a local — as if he wanted to show me something. Well, I think the cats of Istanbul know the city better than any guidebook.
