There are days that stay etched in your memory not only because of the scenery, but also because of the energy you feel when connecting with nature. My getaway to El Alto del Chocho in Medellín was exactly that: a complete recharge.
The experience began with a breathtaking view, but the best part was meeting the most charismatic inhabitants of the place: the llamas! It was impossible to resist taking photos of them; they have a unique personality and posed beautifully. The tour allowed me to get up close to the horses, which are impressive with their elegance, and enjoy the peace that can only be found high up on the mountain.
And, of course, the finishing touch was a must: a delicious traditional meal that tasted like heaven after all that walking and exploring. It was simply a great day—one of those that reminds you that sometimes all we need is a little fresh air and good company to feel alive again.

Hay días que se quedan grabados en la memoria no solo por el paisaje, sino por la energía que se siente al conectar con la naturaleza. Mi escapada al Alto del Chocho en Medellín fue precisamente eso: una recarga total.
La experiencia comenzó con una vista que te quita el aliento, pero lo mejor fue el encuentro con los habitantes más carismáticos del lugar: ¡las llamas! Fue imposible resistirse a tomarles fotos; tienen una personalidad única y posaron de maravilla. El recorrido me permitió conocer de cerca a los caballos, que imponen con su elegancia, y disfrutar de la paz que solo se encuentra en lo alto de la montaña.
Y, por supuesto, no podía faltar el toque final: una deliciosa comida típica que supo a gloria después de caminar y explorar. Fue un día simplemente genial, de esos que te hacen recordar que, a veces, solo necesitamos un poco de aire fresco y buena compañía para volver a vibrar alto.
