It's definitely good to return to the places where you spent wonderful vacations as a child. I think that feeling the sensation of stepping on this land again reminds you of where you come from. It also reminds you of forgotten moments of happiness that, with the passing of time, we leave behind as we become adults, and they even lose the sparkle they once had. When I was a child, during school vacations, I would usually travel to the state of Barinas to spend time with my older siblings and my mother's family. Among them is my cousin, who lives on the outskirts of the capital of Barinas, in a town called Barrancas.

There you can see how the plains come to life day by day in these landscapes. The vegetation and the large number of farms where we see many cows are evidence that we are in the Venezuelan plains. I remember when I was a child running along those dirt roads and through those ranches—which were private, but we would sneak in and walk toward the big trees to get some shade. We played and shared wonderful moments that I was not used to as someone who lives in the city.

So, during this visit, which lasted about four hours (quite brief considering that I used to spend days there), I was able to see those places again. They have changed over time only in terms of their vegetation, as everything else remains practically the same. I had the opportunity to take some photos of the cows that graze there, and also to walk along the trails and breathe in the fresh air that you suddenly don't have in the city.

It's definitely good to return to places that made you happy at times and took you away from the cold routine to which we are bound practically from the moment we are born. We spent a very emotional and nostalgic day in the company of relatives who live there, and of course, we will repeat this experience sometime when I return to this place. Barrancas is undoubtedly a place that will always be special to me, and every time I visit the state of Barinas, I will have to visit it. It's a pleasure to share this experience. See you soon.
