Welcome, Dear Readers.
Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing great. I haven't been able to share this other adventure with you yet, but here's what happened: we went to Isla de Plata Beach, and I'll tell you all about it.
You catch the boats from the same pier to get there. It’s like going to the first beach I told you about earlier, except this one is closer and on the opposite side—let’s say about 10 minutes away. The crystal-clear waters are a sight to behold. Located in Mochima National Park between Anzoátegui and Sucre, I liked this island so much more than the first one I visited. Here you can choose between two spots on the beach, but I noticed that at the other end the tide was too strong—the waves broke more there—so we preferred to stay on the calmer side.
I used to see photos of this island on social media, and all I ever saw was that cement factory in the background, but I didn’t know where it was until I actually visited. Sure, the view of the pollution is a bummer, but everything else is amazing. That pirate statue is at the Puerto La Cruz pier, but we couldn’t find it to take a photo until we drove by and spotted it. The sun was out that day. We actually visited two beaches on this trip, but I got really sunburned those days. It was worth it—new adventures in my own country. There are still beaches on my list to visit in the future; I hope it’s soon. We have this paradise right here in Venezuela. Of the few places I’ve been, I’d come back here. Of course, you need a good budget—you spend money like anywhere else—but it’s totally worth it. I hope you liked my story. See you next time. Thanks for reading. Take care.
Thank you all
