Visitando a una amiga en el paseo colon. [ESP-ENG]

Algo que me tenía bastante contenta de venir a puerto la cruz es que iba a ver a una de mis mejores amigas. Y es que ella fue hace un año y medio a la isla y desde entonces no nos veíamos. Y no solo verla a ella me hacía feliz sino también ver a su niña, la última vez que la ví era una bebé y ya tiene 3 años. Así que ella me comentó que hoy iba a trabajar en el paseo colon y es que tiene un puesto de perros calientes. Así que yo me aliste y le pedí a uno de mis primos que me llevará hasta este lugar ya que sola no se llegar.

Something that made me really happy about coming to Puerto La Cruz was that I was going to see one of my best friends. She had been to the island a year and a half ago, and we hadn't seen each other since. Seeing her wasn't the only thing that made me happy; seeing her daughter was great too. The last time I saw her, she was a baby, and now she's three years old. She told me that she was going to work today on Paseo Colón; she has a hot dog stand. So I got ready and asked one of my cousins to take me there since I don't know how to get there on my own.

La verdad que fue bastante fácil identificar el puesto de perros calientes de mi amiga. Cuando llegue ella estaba ocupada atendiendo unos clientes. Así que me senté con su esposo y su niña, al principio la niña no sabía quién era yo. Pero estuvo muy feliz porque le lleve unas camisas que mi amiga había mandado a comprar en la isla. Y luego le dije para tomarnos una foto y decía tu eres mi amiga, me pareció muy lindo de su parte que dijera que yo era su amiga.

It was actually pretty easy to spot my friend's hot dog stand. When I arrived, she was busy serving customers. So I sat down with her husband and their little girl. At first, the girl didn't know who I was. But she was really happy because I brought her some shirts my friend had ordered on the island. Then I asked if we could take a picture, and she said, "You're my friend." I thought it was really sweet of her to say I was her friend.

Mientras mi amiga trabajaba yo decidí ayudarla a cuidar un poco a su niña. Y si antes admiraba a mi amiga hoy siento que la admiro mucho mas. Ella es ingeniero petroquímica pero actualmente no ejerce su carrera, pero debo decir que trabaja realmente fuerte para sacar adelante a su familia.

While my friend was working, I decided to help her take care of her daughter. And if I admired my friend before, today I feel I admire her even more. She's a petrochemical engineer, but she's not currently working in her field. However, I must say she works incredibly hard to support her family.

Algo que me parece muy lindo y que siempre veía que ponía el esposo de mi amiga en sus estados de WhatsApp era más puesta de sol que tienen el privilegio de ver desde el lugar donde trabajan, así que mientras estaba acompañando a mi amiga decidí tomar algunas fotos de este bello atardecer.

Something I find very beautiful, and that I always saw my friend's husband posting on his WhatsApp statuses, was more sunsets that they have the privilege of seeing from the place where they work, so while I was accompanying my friend I decided to take some pictures of this beautiful sunset.

También camine un poco por el paseo colon solo que decidí no alejarme mucho, pues no conozco mucho el lugar y tenía miedo de perderme. Pero camine y tomé algunas fotos, en estos días volveré a acompañar a mi amiga a su puesto de trabajo y tomaré algunas otras fotos.

I also walked a bit along Paseo Colón, but I decided not to go too far since I don't know the area very well and I was afraid of getting lost. I walked around and took some pictures, and I'll go back soon to accompany my friend to her job and take some more photos.

Y debo decir que la hija de mi amiga me hizo caminar bastante ya que ella tiene mucha energía y quería jugar mucho conmigo. Me pareció muy linda y muy traviesa, es increíble como el tiempo pasa tan rápido la última vez que la Vi era tan pequeña y ya está tan grande y habla mucho.

And I must say, my friend's daughter really made me walk, as she has so much energy and wanted to play with me a lot. I thought she was very cute and very mischievous; it's incredible how time flies. The last time I saw her, she was so little, and now she's so grown up and talks so much.

Mientras estaba en el puesto de mi amiga ella me regaló una hamburguesa y debo decir que estaba deliciosa. Cene con ellos en su puesto de perros calientes y luego mi primo me fue a buscar. Me gustó estar con ellos y compartir espero verlos más en estos días que estaré aquí en puerto la cruz.

While I was at my friend's stand, she gave me a hamburger, and I must say it was delicious. I had dinner with them at their hot dog stand, and then my cousin came to pick me up. I enjoyed being with them and sharing time together. I hope to see them more often during my stay in Puerto La Cruz.
