Una nueva jornada de trabajo en Ciudad Bolívar ⚽🌇 [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Life Fetal community. Today I’m here to share with you a new chapter in my life. This time, it’s about a little trip I took with my partner to the capital of Bolívar State, Ciudad Bolívar. As I’ve mentioned before, my partner really likes sports, and thanks to that, he’s carved out a niche for himself as a sports journalist (actually, he’s a journalist, but with a focus on audiovisual media), so it’s a win-win situation. I also help him out, since there are times when he needs me to double-check that everything is correct: a corner kick, a substitution card, etc.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Life fetal. El día de hoy me uno por acá para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. En esta ocasión se trata sobre este pequeño viaje que realicé junto a mi pareja hasta la capital del Estado Bolívar, Ciudad Bolívar. Como comenté en anteriores ocasiones a mi pareja le gusta bastante los deportes y gracias a ello, pues se ha hecho de un espacio como periodista deportivo (en realidad él es periodista, pero en la mención de audiovisual), así que es un momento de ganancia. Asimismo, yo lo ayudo pues hay ocasiones donde él requiere que yo verifique si está todo correcto: un córner, una tarjeta en cambio de jugador, etc.
This Saturday we left home pretty early, but not before making some empanadas that were absolutely delicious in both flavor and filling. I love seasonings, so they really bring out the flavor in any filling. For me, breakfast is really important when traveling such a long distance. So I felt like I’d already had lunch just from that. We arrived at the terminal, and even though we were delayed leaving, the trip felt pretty quick, and in just over an hour, we were already in the city. I was still full from what I’d eaten, but we stopped for a slice of pizza since we didn’t know when we’d eat again (we might get home late). The game started at three in the afternoon and was pretty quiet, even though there was some activity, and another really nice thing was the good weather. It didn’t rain and stayed that way until we left the city around 5:30 in the afternoon.
The trip home was a bit more stormy, since it started raining harder. We ended up arriving around 7:30 and stopped by to pick up some groceries. Fortunately, the rain this weekend wasn’t as heavy as it was on Monday and Thursday. Finally, we made it home, and we’re completely exhausted from everything we had to do. Now we can finally say it’s time to rest.
Para este sábado salimos bastante temprano de casa, no sin antes haber hecho unas empanadas buenísimas en cuanto a sabor y relleno. Me gustan los aliños, así que eso le da un buen gusto a cualquier relleno. Para mí el desayuno es bien importante cuando se viaja tan lejos. Así que yo sentía que ya había almorzado solo con eso. Llegamos al terminal y aunque tardamos en salir, el viaje lo sentí bastante rápido y en cuestión de una hora y un poco más, ya estábamos en la ciudad. Yo aún estaba llena por lo que había comido, pero pasamos por una pizza ya que no sabíamos en qué momento volveríamos a comer (era posible llegar tarde a casa). El juego comenzó a las tres de la tarde y estuvo bastante tranquilo a pesar de de que hubo algo de movimiento y además una cosa bien favorable fue el buen clima. No llovió y se mantuvo así hasta que nosotros salimos de la ciudad a eso de las 5:30 de la tarde.
El camino a casa si fue un poco más tormentoso ya que comenzó a llover más fuerte. Terminamos llegando a eso de las 7:30 y pasamos a comprar algo de mercado. Afortunadamente este fin de semana no estuvo tan fuerte con respecto a las lluvias de los días lunes y jueves. Finalmente, bajamos hasta nuestro hogar y estamos super agotados por todo lo que tuvimos que hacer. Ahora sí, podemos decir que ess la hora de descansar.
