Recuerdos del casco antiguo de Estocolmo [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! aún me quedan algunas publicaciones de nuestras vacaciones anteriores, así que hoy jueves me pareció el día perfecto para recordar nuestra escala en Suecia, donde como ya les he contado antes no estuvimos mucho tiempo y el clima y el frío no ayudaron mucho pero eso no fue impedimento para que Pawel, Olivia y yo un día fueramos a conocer el espectacular casco antiguo de Estocolmo o el llamado Gamla Stan.

Ahora bien, les cuento que vimos muchas cosas allí, pero también muchas nos faltaron por ver, aún así recuerdo que había muchos edificios con unas hermosas fachadas de colores pasteles y algunos de colores vivos y las calles adoquinadas o empedradas fue algo que me encantó siento que le dan mucho atractivo a este casco antiguo por lo que es imposible no fotografiarlo, pues como ven en las fotos de este post es maravilloso.

Debo confesar que por un momento allí me sentí en Praga (Chequia), no solo por las increíbles fachadas de los edificios, si no también cuando vi un callejón donde están las bicicletas y por algunas geniales esculturas como la de la madre, el padre y el niño, siento que hay tantas cosas hermosas allí que decoran la ciudad al igual que en Praga.

También recuerdo una calle con muchos negocios y restaurantes, de hecho justo ahí compramos nuestro lindo imán para la nevera, y el paseo por el río, en realidad fue muy bonito todo, excepto el clima, pues justo en ese momento ya empezaba a tener frío y decidimos entrar en algún lugar a tomar algo. Sin duda alguna la pasamos muy bien caminando por allí y aunque Suecia es un país caro, puedo decir que volvería pero cuando haya un buen clima para poder recorrer el espectacular casco antiguo de Estocolmo que nos encantó.

Hi everyone! I still have a few posts left from our previous vacation, so today, Thursday, seemed like the perfect day to look back on our stopover in Sweden. As I’ve mentioned before, we didn’t spend much time there, and the weather and the cold didn’t help much, but that didn’t stop Pawel, Olivia, and me from spending a day exploring Stockholm’s spectacular Old Town, or Gamla Stan.

Now, I’ll tell you that we saw a lot of things there, but there was also a lot we didn’t get to see. Even so, I remember there were many buildings with beautiful pastel-colored facades and some in bright colors, and the cobblestone streets were something I absolutely loved—I feel they add so much charm to this old town that it’s impossible not to take pictures of it. As you can see in the photos in this post, it’s wonderful.

I must confess that for a moment there I felt like I was in Prague (Czech Republic)—not only because of the incredible building facades, but also when I saw an alley with bicycles and some great sculptures, like the one of the mother, father, and child. I feel like there are so many beautiful things there that decorate the city, just like in Prague.

I also remember a street lined with shops and restaurants—in fact, that’s where we bought our cute fridge magnet—and the walk along the river. Everything was really lovely, except for the weather; by then I was starting to feel cold, so we decided to go inside somewhere for a drink. We definitely had a great time walking around there, and even though Sweden is an expensive country, I can say I’d go back—but only when the weather is nice enough to explore Stockholm’s spectacular Old Town, which we absolutely loved.
