Somewhere within the municipality of Loures, north of Lisbon, lies a cave steeped in mystery, myth, and legend! A natural site that was inhabited for thousands of years, and it's believed that Neanderthals, our prehistoric humans, ate and slept there. But I didn't come for scientific research... I came to try to unravel the mysteries of the cave: "Pego do Diabo" (Devil's Rock), which supposedly swallows everything that enters it... Are you ready?📍🚩
En algun sitio en dentro del municipio de Loures al norte de Lisboa se encuentra una cueva inmersa en misterios, mitos y leyendas!! un local natural que durante miles de anos fue habitado y se cree que el Neandertal nuestro hombre prehistorico se alimento y durmio en ella, pero no vine por la experiencia cientifica... Vine para intentar revelar los miterios de la cueva: "Pego do diabo" que segun se traga todo lo que entra en ellas... Estas listo??🛺🌏
Although it might seem strange, there is a transport route that passes through the village where the cave, "Bolores," is located—a place in the middle of nowhere with about 15 houses, a village with no shops, schools, businesses, nothing! When you arrive here, you're cut off from Portugal. And that's already a good sign... What awaits us will be interesting.🚩📍
Aunque te parezca extrano si hay una ruta de transporte que pasa por la aldea donde esta la cueva "Bolores" un lugar en medio de la nada con una 15 casas, una villa sin tiendas, escuelas, locales, nada!!!! cuando llegas aqui te aislas de Portugal. Y ya eso es un buen indicio... Lo que nos espera sera interesante🏞️🏔️
I have to thank my drone because without it, it would have been impossible to locate the cave, and you might think I'm exaggerating, but I'm not! The truth is, when I reached the highest point (320 meters), I had absolutely no view of the cave because it was on the side of the mountain and there was no visibility there... That's why I'm dedicating this post to the drone community, since the Mavic 2 Mini saved my day, hehehe💀🧭.
Tengo que dar las gracias a mi drone porque si no lo tenia conmigo era imposible localizar la cueva, y creeras que estoy exagerando pero no!!! lo cierto es que al llegar al punto mas alto (320metros) no tenia ningun tipo de vision de la cueva porque estaba en el costado de la montana y no habia visibilidad alli... Por eso dedique este post a la comunidad de Drones ya que el Mavic2mini salvo mi dia jejeje🚩🏕️

For me, tourism is sacred if it's not too hectic, confusing, or full of tourists everywhere! Loures offers that possibility. This is my second visit to the cave; I hadn't been to this area for a few years and never saw any other hikers on these narrow sandy paths. But be warned! You must come prepared with plenty of water, food, walking sticks, and hiking boots. Don't wear shorts, and bring a flashlight if you're not afraid to venture into the cave.📸🛺🌏
hacer turismo para mi es sagrado si no hay mucho ajetreo, confusion, turistas por todos lados!! Loures te da esa posibilidad, es mi segunda visita a la cueva no venia por esta zona hace unos anos y nunca vi algun senderista a parte de mi andar en estas caminerias angostas de arena, eso si!! te advierto que debes venir preparado con mucha agua, comida, bastones y botas de excursion, no traigas pantalones cortos y una linterna si no tienes miedo de adentrarte a la cueva.🌺🐍👩🏻🦯👨🏻🦯
Personally, I don't recommend bringing small children; this isn't for them! If you're into "nature walks," this isn't recommended either. If you have a certain level of orienteering skills and experience hiking on rough terrain, you might even find the cave easy. On the other hand, fear of heights and fear of small spaces are definitely not recommended! In short, it's quite an extreme adventure!👩🏻🦯
Yo en lo personal no recomiendo traer ninos pequenos, esto no es para ese tipo de publico! si usted hace senderismo del tipo "caminar en la naturaleza" tampoco es recomendable, si usted tiene cierto nivel de orientacion, experiencia en caminatas en terreno rusticos, cosas de ese indole hasta quizas la cueva le parezca facil, otra cosa... Miedo a las alturas y miedo a sitios pequenos tampoco! en resumen una aventura bastante extrema!🦾🦿

Esta aventura es extrema, sobre todo sin las señalizaciones, con tu experiencia y las herramientas que tienes lo volviste relativamente fácil. Amar la naturaleza y caminar por estos senderos hace las miradas del paisaje más agradables.
El senderismo no es para todos, yo no me atreeria a ir sola, pero la adrenalina hace la vivencia más interesante.
