STREET ART #272 – »End of the Line» street art festival in Aalborg, Denmark (5)
This week I continue with the artworks that were produced during Aalborg's street art festival in August. It's hard to choose favorites! My experience is that there was so much incredibly good work from both local and foreign artists.
More than 30 artists have participated in the 4-day long street art festival in Aalborg. Both local and international artists have produced amazing work at "End of the Line", which is currently Denmark's largest art and music festival. In addition to seeing the artists in action, musical concerts were also held. The 3rd edition of the festival took place from 13th to 16th of August 2026 in the city park called Karolinelund.
Amazing piece of art done by Ricky D. He paints colorful art that mixes photorealism with cartoons. He is known for making art with this combination. He has done quite a lot of murals around Aalborg.
On the last day I went to the park early in the morning to check the finished paintings.
The artist behind this painting is the Danish illustrator and graffiti artist Lars Pank. He was born in Copenhagen in 1982. But I think he lives in Aalborg at the moment. He has done several works in the city. I have seen several of his work here. I am sure he has a different way of seeing his surroundings - He is color blind.
This painting d!oes seems as if it is finished, but I don't see a signature, so I don't know who the artist is.

En mi experiencia, la foto del mural de Ricky D. que combina fotorrealismo con caricatura me recordó a cómo mi hermana siempre mezcla seriedad y diversión en su emprendimiento. The fact that Lars Pank creates his work while color‑blind in Karolinelund shows how personal constraints can become a unique artistic advantage.
