I have been to Adelaide a few times over the years. Once for a Grand Prix car race in its early days, another while driving around Australia and even worked for a few weeks as a casual electrician. @consciouscat and I picked up a parkrun here one weekend when we first meet. Lochiel parkrun, Adelaide, Australia. - TravelFeed and now this visit. It was only a couple of nights but that is all we could fit in between visiting my cousin and checking out Kangaroo Island. The gods were smiling on us as we were able to time it perfectly and get to a small Hive meetup and pickup another new parkrun. Stebonheath parkrun, South Australia. - TravelFeed as well.
We stayed right in the southwest corner of the central business district which was very close to everything we had planned. The Rydge's hotel was ok, nice buffet breakfast, we were worried there might be too much road noise but up high with the balcony window closed and the air conditioning running we slept very well.
China Town and the Markets were close by.
The markets even had a Lego model of their layout and set up.
The costs of everything skyrocketing on this trip it was delight full to find one of the best and cheapest meals we had have in ages.
As all ways I managed to squeeze a few easy runs in, and you can always find some cool murals around town.
As always, it is the locals we got to meet that make the places great!
