It is impossible to sleep on a plane in economy and even upper economy. The trick is to move around once the lights are out because there are some sleeping spots to be found. The A380 has a few and why I now look for those flights and select certain seats.

do you mean the exit rows? Certainly they would stop you if you tried to jump classes
