Saturday similar to the last 4 weeks was somewhat of an adventure exploring day this time without much plans upfront. We stayed in bed quite long and in the early afternoon headed to the 'Floating Market' despite the fact that it got quite poor reviews so the expectation was quite low. I knew it was going to be a constructed tourtist thing that likely was going to be somewhat abandoned and it kind of was while it was still a fun activity to do

While it is called a floating market, it basically is just a pond with next to it above the watter wooden hallways with shops next to it of which most were kind of empty, closed or felt like fillers.

The environment was nice though and it anything everything was very clean and maintained. The things that sucks the post and why it gets poor reviews is that there is a 200 baht entry fee while it's basically just a bunch of shops along with a small train and a small boatride. The last one we didn't even bother doing.

We did eat something there and the food was excellent and overall we spend just shy of 2 hours there before we took a grab to the Artist Village which is another thing that was on my list of things to do.

When we arrived there, it quickly looked quite promising with a very clean environment also and some artists working their craft while there was some kind of workshop for kids going on and also a small café.

We continued to walk the village until we quickly reached the museum which had and 80 baht entry fee which was well worth it.

Once we were done with that, we went inside the café to drink something and cool down a bit as it had nice airco. It was a hot day but at no point did this bother as both activities had really good shade and were a perfect fit for a day like this.

After this we headed back to my place and after a short nap, we took a walk to Market Village to get something to eat. We continued the walk going to the Chocolate Factory for a small desert

I had eaten too much at that point though and had some belly cramps so while walking the city center I stopped by the Hilton Hotel to go to the toilet and we ended going to the rooftop bar there which had live music and a super nice view with really good seats.

Instead of walking the beach back which was the initial plan, we took a grab and were pretty tapped out going to bed to end another really nice day.
Next Day Goals: The only plan on Sunday was to go see the Oddesey movie. I will try to bring an update on that tonight so I'm back on track.
What a floating market! It feels like a gap between expectation and reality. 😆
Yeah, good thing that I kind of knew it in advance and also going anywhere together with my girlfriend always turns out as fun regardless the location.
