Day 2930 | Sai Noi Beach & Khao Tao Visit

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, entertainment, and my personal life...

It is not easy to fill my weekdays since I stopped doing Hot Yoga and switched to doing more trips mainly in the weekend. So one of the things I have been doing in searching some youtube channels who visit hidden things in the area and go on some kind of quest to check it out myself.

So on Tuesday after a slow monday, this was to go check out a small hidden beach named Sai Noi Beach. This possibly as a thing to do with my girlfriend over the weekend.

So I took a grab there which cost 144 Baht first stopping by Market Village to get an umbrella as the weather isn't the most stable and some rain or heavy sun could be expected. The rain was the case when I arrived at the secluded beach so that took quite a bit away from the experience.

I also checked out Sanae Beach Hua Hin and had a really good Pineappe shake there where they take an entire pineapple and mix the inside without the middle and serve it just like that.

I also wanted to visit Khao Tao where there was a tourist attraction I didn't know much about and I walked there passing by some viewing point. I continued to some small fisher village where the temple complex was along with some food vendors but almost no tourists.

The first part I tried to enter was guarded by a dog and I am always super careful in these situations. A bit further was the main entrance to the complex which had a lot of rooms and small statues along with a viewing point on top of the mountain.

There was a sign saying 300m to the top so I took that as a challenge but when getting closer there were some big Monkeys and since I was there all alone with no stick I also just wasn't going to take the risk as I don't trust them and fear getting attacked.

So I went back down and walked the lake with a small temple on it a bit until I eventually took a grab back to my condo.

Once back in my condo, I went for a Swim and a sauna before heading to my girlfriend as there is supposed to be a legendary noodle place there which I had to test. I did walk to Market Village and took the green bus there which only cost 15 Baht to get to the other side of town.

However, when getting there around 18:40, it was already closed as it apparently only opens from 09:00 to 16:00 with a closing day on Wednesday. This while pretty much every restaurant here is open from morning to evening very late 7 days in the week. It only adds to my expectations as the combination of a very small menu and limited opening times are all very good signs.

So instead, we took the green bus and headed to the Tuesday market walking that while getting some food which was a dissapointment. Actually Tuesday market despite the ton of food stands is the worst food market around as everything is in plastic and very inpractical to eat while a lot of the meat has way too much fat and bones on it.

Afterward, I headed back to my condo stopping by Baan Khun Por eating some chicken Pop which was ok. I spend some time in my room and eventually went out alone again to my favorite restaurant / Bar (the only one in Soi 94 that doesn't have bargirls) to get a drink and play some pool which was fun. Once back it was time to watch the football match and it kind of was dissapointing.

Next Day Goals: I start Wednesday with no plans aside from that I will celebrate being together with my girlfriend already and entire month.
