Praha nám poslední dobou nějak nechce ukazovat svá zajímavá místa. První zastávku na pravidelném nedělním výletu s ATW si proto uděláme v Británii.

Znáte film Jméno růže (originál - Il nome della Rosa)? To bylo první, co mě napadlo, když jsem viděl, co nám poslal do soutěže @davidthompson57. Jeho pohled na Guildford castle v Guildfordu, mi připomněl jednu scénu z výše jmenovaného filmu :-). Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce dubna.

Prague doesn't want to show us its interesting places lately. We will therefore make the first stop on the regular Sunday trip with ATW in Britain.

Do you know the movie The Name of the Rose (original - Il nome della Rosa)? That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw what @davidthompson57 sent us for the contest. His view of Guildford castle in Guildford reminded me of a scene from the aforementioned movie :-). The photo received a special prize with the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photo of the month of April.

Ve Francii jsme mnoho zastávek neměli. Proto jsem rád, že @ladytruckview odstavila na chvíli svůj kamion v Lyonu a pozvala nás k mostu Passerelle Saint-Georges s výhledem na chrám Égilse Saint-Georges. Fotografie získala první cenu.

We didn't have many stops in France. That's why I'm glad that @ladytruckview stopped her truck for a while in Lyon and invited us to the Passerelle Saint-Georges bridge overlooking the Égils Saint-Georges temple. The photo won first prize.

Jak často máte možnost potkat hrdiny japonských kreslených Manga v nadživotní velikosti? Dnes tu možnost máte. @vcclothing nás pozval obdivovat Gundama ve městě Fukuoka. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

How often do you get to meet life-sized Japanese Manga heroes? Today you have that opportunity. @vcclothing invited us to admire Gundam in Fukuoka city. The photo won second prize.

Závěr výletu s ATW je vpravdě královský. @cezary-io tentokrát nezvolil večerní fotografii, ale za denního světla navštívil královský hrad a zámek Wawel v polském Krakově. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.

The conclusion of the trip with ATW is truly royal. @cezary-io didn't choose an evening photo this time, but visited Wawel, a royal castle and chateau in Kraków, Poland, in daylight. The photo won third prize.

Mám zato, že jsme dnes zase viděli, díky našim soutěžícím, několik zajímavých míst na naší planetě. Pokud vám nestačili fotografie, budete tato místa muset navštívit osobně :-)
