Were they playing polka music for the cows? We have a radio station across the state that is one of the longest running polka stations in the country. They play it in the barns because it makes the cows produce more milk. No lie. We have some local farms that supply reusable bottles of unpasteurized milk to a few of the local stores here.

They were playing something similar to that. I doubt they call it polka here though. I'd have to ask. It wasn't super loud though, which was nice. This seemed to be a popular place as people were popping in and out and the little kids were helping dad with the service.
That doesn't surprise me, there is some Mexican music that is very accordion heavy very similar to polkas. Probably a bit faster, more in line with the Chicago Push style versus the traditional Eastern European style.
