Hello, cactus and succulent lovers! I'm excited 😊👏 to be here again, to share with you the amazing community of Succulent Growers, led by @nikv, his permission to publish you a beautiful collection of Bromeliaceas, fascinating and different twist to the world of cactaceae plants.
It is the 2nd content for my visit to the lottery garden 5th national excellence of my country, then I will show many varieties of these exotic plants and flowers in general. I hope it will be to everyone's liking. Excellent beginning of the week!

Bromeliaceae are one of the perfect plants to adapt to the interior of our home. In their DNA there is a past marked by their ability to grow even in the most inhospitable and varied conditions: from the Andes to the jungles of Brazil (where they live, like orchids, suspended from the bark of trees), Bromeliads have been able to adapt to almost any climate and are even able to grow on rock.

Its care needs abundant but never direct light, as it could burn its leaves.Bromeliads flowers grow inside their bracts of color and presence of spectacular pigments in its center. 🪷🪴

Bromeliaceas flowers are said to symbolize inspiration and resilience in the face of adversity. If there is someone in your life whom you admire for their ability to weather life's storms, this decorative plant will remind them how much you appreciate them.

The genus Neoregelias probably has the most colorful species of the entire Bromeliaceaes family, producing many brightly colored leaves and forming a round, decorative rosette of medium size. During flowering the colors in the center become even more intense. In the garden this is the species that most impressed me by its red leaves 🍁 one of the most striking plants of the place.
Its growers say that it needs a little more sun than the others, its watering is moderate and it should always be moist in the center.

I photographed this species because I liked it, it has nothing to do with bromeliaceae; but they had a shelf with several fish and inside them this beautiful flower 🪷. They are aquatic herbs of the genus Nymphaea (Nymphaea) its flower is white with yellow center and is mostly sought after to decorate mini gardens at home.

The zebra (Aechmea chantinii) is the Queen of bromeliaceae. Although it is coveted by many for its aesthetic value, it has other qualities. The way in which its leaves are arranged responds to a natural adaptation to accumulate water, insects and plant debris that serve to nourish the plant. The zebra flowers only once in its life. In fact, it is likely that after this flowering, the whole plant dies.
Of the images what I liked the most was to manage to take them with a lizard 🐊 who let me enjoy his walk through the plant 😁 nice nice.

Another flower that impressed me is this Bromelia Aechmea fasciata is one of the most used in the ornamental part of the varieties, it has no spike on its leaves, its flower is reddish and quite elongated.

There is not much information about this Bromeliad that I will present to you because it was a gift that was donated from Venezuela, only that its orange color is beautiful and makes a great impression. It is of the genus Hylaeaicum eleutheropetalum native to tropical countries.

This plant is very abundant in the forests of Cuba 🇨🇺, wherever you walk in the trees there are different species of it. They are of the genus Racinaea, very easy to adapt to the environment and of little intensive care, they feed on the trunks of the bushes.

La Papilionanda Josephine van Brero es un híbrido orquídea naranja, otra donación para su jardín. "Lo bueno que nos traen las plantas es que hacemos muchos amistades tanto en el país como en otras regiones del mundo" @nikv
This is not a bromeliaceas but it is a very beautiful orchid, which presented its flower in full view of everyone, impossible not to photograph. The Papilionanda Josephine van Brero is an orange orchid hybrid, another donation to her garden. "The good thing that plants bring us is that we make many friendships both in the country and in other regions of the world" @nikv

To culminate this journey through the art of plants, I will leave again their words that the growers themselves told me: "This is a collective work. When there is a volume of plants like this, it takes sacrifice. It is not the same to take care of 40 plants on a balcony, than thousands of them, they become part of the family".
A final sample of his collection, a few shots 📸📸

Before you forget, he also has a garden guardian 😄🤣🤣🤣 an iguana 🦎, it's nothing but Caribbean iguanas native to the beach Coasts of Cuba 🇨🇺. At least let me take some pictures of it for you jjjjjj.

This nursery is located a few kilometers from the city of Havana, in the municipality of Cotorro, in the neighborhood of La Lotería, on 52nd Street #7138, between 91st and 71st, and if you are going to ask for directions, this place is better known by the people who live nearby as the international nursery.
If you liked it, don't forget to leave a comment and follow me for future posts. I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas for the next one.
Do you own any species in your garden? Tell me which is your favorite from the collection?
Hermosa. Quedé fascinada mi amor. Una belleza
Gracias amor !
What lovely, healthy plants! I have a few Neoregelias, Dyckia, Puya. I guess I'm mostly a fan of the Neoregelias, mainly because they are easy to handle!
The neoregelias are also very beautiful because of their red colors, when you give them that sun, they are very pretty !!!! And if the collection is well cared for, they live for it 🙏🏻🙏🏻👏
Wow... This is a lovely collection.
Thanks you 😊🙏🏻
