Last year was very hard on my plants; there was very little I could do for them as I was renovating my office, and they were left piled up for quite some time. In addition, I didn't add any fertilizer, and I couldn't transplant many of them.

That's why I'm taking care of them all in groups, and today it's my amaryllis' turn. Due to my neglect, these amaryllis did not bloom last year. Now I have these three plants left, and I am going to change their substrate.
I realize that due to the lack of nutrients, the leaves are weak. The afternoon breeze in the greenhouse has caused them to break and fall. Although they are green, the leaves are not in good condition.
I take the bulbs out of the pots, and before replanting them, I cut the leaves approximately 20 cm above the stem.

I have only one left whose leaves are strong and stiff. I will let it grow in the new substrate, and I will keep an eye on the others to see if they produce a flower stalk after this pruning and after placing them in the substrate.

Placed with their new substrate in their pots, the bulbs look good. I hope they will now multiply. Next week, I will add new homemade organic fertilizer to stimulate flowering and the production of large, strong leaves.
I'm placing them in the shade while they adapt to their new substrate. In a few days, before adding the homemade liquid fertilizer, I'll put them back in their place, along with the other plants I've already transplanted.

I used to know what colors of amaryllis I had, but now I have to wait for them to bloom again to find out which color of the plant survived last year's disaster.
That's all for now in my garden.
