I noticed that when I put the branches of the Zamioculca plant in water, the roots sprout very quickly. Faster than planting them in soil. That way, after a while, I can transplant them into a pot.

Yesterday, I took the cuttings out of the water, washed the leaves, and today I am going to plant them in the pots that I bought. I bought some potting soil and added my worm compost, a little black soil, fine sand, and rice husks. I will plant them in the pots today, and in a week, when they are rooted, I will sell them.

I put three more cuttings back in water. During this Christmas season, these plants are in high demand.

I also bought a Coqueta mosaico plant. It had four branches, and I cut two to transplant. It has beautiful pink flowers. It was my son who preferred this color to the red I chose. It has beautiful leaves, and the flowers stay open longer than other flowers. I think they last as long as the flowers of the Vicaria plant.

These are some shoots from the leaves of my succulents. Accidents always happen in the garden when plants fall over, including the mother succulents. The leaves fall off. I place them in the ground and wait a while until each leaf begins to have its descendant.

Me di cuenta que cuando coloco las ramas de la zamioculca en agua, las raíces brotan con mucha fuerza. ASÍ puedo, luego de un tiempo trasplantarlas a una maceta.

Ayer saqué los esquejes del agua, lave las hojas, y hoy las voy a sembrar en macetas que compré. Justamente compré un sustrato y le agregué mi abono de lombriz, un poco de tierra negra, arena fina y cascarilla de arroz. Con esto las colocaré hoy en las macetas para dentro de una semana cuando estén enraizadas proceder a su venta.

Volví a colocar nuevamente tres esquejes más en agua. Es esta época de navidad, estas plantas son muy solicitadas.

También compré una planta de Coqueta mosaico. Tenía cuatro ramitas y le corté dos para trasplantarlas. Tiene hermosas flores de color rosado. Fue mi hijo quien prefirió este color al rojo que yo escogí. Tiene hojas hermosas y además las flores se abren por más tiempo que otras flores. Creo que perduran tanto como las flores de la planta Vicaria.

Estos son algunos retoños de las hojas de mis suculentas. Siempre ocurren accidentes en el jardín, cuando se caen las plantas, entre ellas están las suculentas madres. Se desprenden las hojas. Las coloco en tierra y espero un tiempo hasta que cada hoja empieza a tener su descendiente.
