Well, I'll tell you that Stenocactus are one of the hardest species to grow in my country. Their care is a bit demanding, but they can handle a lot of drought, and with just a little water—mostly rainwater—they bounce back really well.
You should go for it! I saw a few days ago that you posted your Gymnocalyciums—they had such nice colors, bro.
These months, the cacti in my garden are very grateful and are blooming. Thanks for the support!!
yeah you need to get Gymno LB hybrid var. I dont know in your country those gymno can easy to get or not but here in my country there are plenty of it. And easy to growing up and flowering and some of them already mixed with another type of Gymno.
But Steno is kinda rare in my country. Need to buy from Thailand first i guess

Stenocatus dislike too much sun although I live near the equator so the sun is strong here. I find they like regular water but the mix should drain well or it will rot
wait2 steno dislike direct sun light?
But when not get so much light my steno also died too
thats why i kinda confused how to treat steno
and what make me stop because the price here is very expensive
